The Mission of the Dickson County Public Library is to enhance the quality of life for our community by providing open, equal, and free access to information, life-long learning, knowledge, and ideas.
To fulfill this mission we will provide library materials, programs, information, and technology to support a wide range of community and individual interests. We will provide skilled, dedicated and responsive staff to meet the needs of library users and ensure that library service is convenient to all participating communities. The library will provide service in attractive, welcoming and comfortable facilities and off training, guidance, and instruction to help library users navigate the information environment.
The Library is committed to provide the citizens of Dickson County engaged in independent learning access to materials and services needed in the pursuit of their personal educational goals.

Hey Tam, I loved hearing all about Donna's warm personality and her birth order - family baby. I also had 6 siblings but I was the oldest. That's why I am so bossy - ha! I have truly been inspired by knowing Donna this week and could absolutely not have made it at PLMI without her!
